NHS Liverpool CCG has created a Health and Wellbeing Fund for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Organisations in Liverpool.
The fund aims to provide support for individuals in Liverpool communities who experience health inequalities and to improve how the NHS and the VCSE sector collaborate to support health and wellbeing.
The fund is part of the city’s health strategy, One Liverpool, and applications open 30 June 2022 and close 25 July 2022.
Cheryl Lowes GP lead for social inclusion said: "We know how vital voluntary and community organisations are in supporting health and wellbeing in our communities.
"We are delighted to announce this fund and to make this opportunity to work more closely together to support people in our city who are facing difficult times."
Projects funded will run between September 2022 to March 2024 for sums of between £3,000 and £30,000.
In total, £470,000 is available and applications are sought for supporting people in the highest areas of deprivation and one or more of the following groups:
